Following the stunning coastline, you will pass Exmouth, Torquay and Dartmouth. The yacht will drop anchor and you can head ashore via the tender to visit the picture-perfect town, have an ice cream and return at your leisure for the final voyage around the headland to Plymouth where you will berth for the night and dine on board.

The total voyage distance is 50 nautical miles with a high possibility of sighting a pod of dolphins or basking sharks, and when arriving, you will be greeted by 140 spectacular islands, of which only five are inhabited.

The most populated island is St Mary’s, the yacht will berth in Duchy of Cornwall Harbour where you can head ashore and explore the town.

The crew will recover the toys after a late lunch and then set sail to the east back to the mainland, passing Wolf Rock Lighthouse on route. Eight nautical miles east of St Mary’s and eight nautical miles southwest of Land’s End, the famous landmark was built in the 1860’s to mark a dangerous rocky outcrop rarely out of the water in the Atlantic swells, causing many shipwrecks. It achieved worldwide publicity in 1972 as the first rock lighthouse to have a helideck constructed on top.

Upon sighting the mainland, sail to Penzance where you will dine on board.

Explore this famous town in the morning and have an early lunch ashore before returning on board to set sail back eastwards to Torquay.

With a relaxed cruise this afternoon, the yacht can stop in one of many secluded harbours filled with local fishing boats and find a deserted bay for use of the water toys to enjoy exploring the beach and coves.

Dine on board before taking the short walk out of Torquay Marina along the sea front of this beautiful town, also known as the ‘English Riviera’, due to its palm tree lined waterfront and continental atmosphere.
