Mahé is the largest island in the Seychelles, home to white-sand beaches and the town of Victoria, the Seychelles capital.

Victoria is known for its Creole architecture and incredible dive sites. On the northwest side of the island, you will find the bay of Beau Vallon, a perfect place to anchor for a pristine beach and great snorkelling due to its clean waters and coral reefs.

Mahé is also home to the towering granite peaks of the Morne Seychellois National Park, a mountainous landscape which drops down to the sandy coves at the coast. After embarkation on board, spend the afternoon exploring Victoria.

Cruise to La Digue on day two after a freshly prepared breakfast on board. La Digue is known for its beaches such as Anse Source d’Argent on the west coast, which is dotted with granite boulders.

Cocos Beach is a protected bay located on the east coast if the island, the perfect place for an afternoon in the sun on a secluded beach. The Veuve Nature Reserve is the perfect place to view La Digue’s diverse wildlife and if you enjoy bird watching, there are many bird sanctuaries on the island where you can see and hear many different types of exotic birds.

La Digue has a relaxed, charming atmosphere with many beaches and luscious nature to enjoy.

Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles is most well-known for its palm lined beaches bordered by large granite boulders.

Some of the beaches are Anse Georgette and Ansa Lazio. Praslin is home to a rugged, jungle covered interior which makes up the Praslin National Park and Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of two places where the coco de mer trees grow in their natural state.

The Seychelles only 18 hole internationally renowned golf course can be found on Praslin, located in the Constance Lemuria resort, open to both residents and non-residents.

Praslin was once thought to be the garden of Eden as it is one of the purest destinations in the world, featuring its pink coral beaches and incredible snorkelling experiences. Enjoy a day of water sports or an afternoon on the beach in this naturally beautiful location.

Located just a mile across from Praslin, Curieuse is a small granitic island close to the North coast of Praslin. Curieuse is well-known for its bare red earth intermingled with the coco de mer palms, the only other place where they grow in their natural state. The National Parks found on this island are home to some of the world-famous giant Aldabra tortoises, of which there are more than 300 who roam wild. They range from hatchlings to the oldies who reach between 80 and 120 years old. In 2004, a ranger on the island noticed that the tortoises had disappeared and headed up into the mountains and it wasn’t until the following day when a tsunami hit the island and realised that the tortoises had somehow known it was coming. They are not only interesting to interact with, but very smart animals too.Enjoy an afternoon spent feeding the tortoises followed by a sunset dinner on board.

Cruise to the islands of La Soeurs or the Sister Islands where you can explore the island by hiking to reach incredible viewpoints. The beautiful islands, formally called Les Soeurs, are located just five miles from Praslin where you will find idyllic anchorages. Petite Soeur, the small sister or West Sister, is a privately owned, granitic island covered with tropical forests. It is just 34 hectares in size and is an incredible place to enjoy a hike where you will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscape and marvel at stunning views. Grande Soeur, the big sister or East Sister is also a privately owned island and rises up to an impressive 113 metres above sea level. This island is a very popular destination for a beach BBQ, a great place for a walk or an afternoon spent swimming and snorkelling in the crystal-clear water.

DISTANCE TO TRAVEL: 12NM

Aride is an island located just 12 miles from Les Soeurs; an essential destination for anyone visiting the Seychelles. This island will give you an insight into what the islands were like 250 years go before human settlement. Aride is the northernmost island of the granitic Seychelles and is home to one of the most important seabird populations in the Indian Ocean. It is the island where birds stop on their north to south migrations. There are many areas where you can see birds nesting and you will be able to see tracks on the beach created by the turtles coming onto the beach to lay their eggs, a real treat for all nature lovers. Enjoy a day of swimming and marvelling at the untouched beauty of this island.

Cousin island is a small granitic island of the Seychelles, lying 2km west of Praslin. It is a nature reserve protected under Seychelles law as a Special Reserve which actively promotes and protects the local environment ensuring that the habitats favoured by rare species are left intact.

Lying just eight miles from Aride island, Cousin is home to stunning deserted beaches and is a haven for unique, rare and endangered flora and fauna. You can expect to see a varied landscape surrounded by turquoise waters, the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day.

DISTANCE TO TRAVEL: 19NM

Silhouette, the third largest granitic island in the Seychelles, lies just 19 miles from the largest island, Mahé. This beautiful and mountainous island’s highest point of Mount Daubon reaches the height of 780 metres. Silhouette has rainforest-clad slopes giving way to pristine white sand beaches with the Seychelles iconic granite boulders dotted on the beach. You will also find that giant tortoises freely roam the island. Silhouette is also home to many rare and indigenous species of fauna and flora and because of that fact, has been designated a Seychelles National Park as well as a Marine National Park enriched by coral reefs, making it the ideal destination for snorkelling, diving or fishing.

Desroches Island, otherwise known as Ile Desroches, is the main island of the Amirante Islands, part of the Outer Islands of the Seychelles.

Along the islands’ circumferences is 13 km of fine sand beaches. The Outer Islands are made up of Alphonse, St Joseph and Desroches, consisting of 72 low-lying sand cays and atolls lying anywhere between 230km and 1150kms from Mahé.

These islands are not visited as frequently as the granitic islands in the Seychelles as they are more remote and harder to get to. These islands are home to many species of wildlife due to the untouched habitats created in these remote locations.

On this final day, cruise back to Mahé for disembarkation.
