The national park is a huge 50,000 square kilometre area and the four main islands are Weigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool.

Start your holiday in Sorong where you will join the yacht. Spend an afternoon at the Tapok Reef System for scuba diving and surface water sports.

On day two, travel to Wayag, the most northern island group in the Raja Ampat National Park, which boasts limestone islands topped with emerald green forests.

The island is known for its beautiful atolls and amazing underwater life, beaches that provide fairy tale panoramas and crystal-clear waters allowing you to see the underwater flora and fauna from above.

This destination is a must-see for all divers with rich underwater displays ready to amaze divers of all experience levels.

When you aren’t exploring the underwater world, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as rock climbing, shark feeding, a channel cruise on the yachts tender or a pearl farm tour.

Penemu is the collective name of an island group that includes Keruo as well as many islets and seamounts. Both Wofu and Penemu are exceptional locations for scuba diving.

As well as beaches and secluded coves, a well-known dive site called Melissa’s Garden features the finest shallow water coral reef.

One of the hidden lagoons can be found in the inner bay on the eastern side of Penemu. Here you will find waterways allowing you to experience the natural marine flora and fauna from the comfort of the yachts tender. Don’t miss out on seeing the screeching red parrots on the ledges of the cliffs.

Wofu is a small island close to the north-west island of Waigeo, a perfect place for a swim and to see beautiful reefs.

Found on the south side of the islands of Waigeo and Gam, Mioskon is the collective name for a seascape of islands, islets, sea-mounts and a landscape home to white sand beaches, mangrove bays and high forests.

When visiting Raja Ampat, explorers, holiday makers and adventurers alike all know this as a firm favourite and a bucket list location when on a yacht.

There is no water sport that does not suit this area, whether you prefer snorkelling, paddle boarding, kayaking or relaxing in the tender, you will be able to enjoy this pristine location. The beaches found in this location are perfect to anchor off and enjoy from the comfort of your yacht.

Misool is one of the islands in the Raja Ampat islands in West Papua. The highest point is 561m and the main town, Waigama, is located on the island’s northern coast.

There is an array of activities to enjoy for the whole family, both above and below the sea.

Enjoy a tender trip while viewing the natural landscape and ancient rock art, or if you prefer under the sea adventures, there are cave systems, jellyfish lakes and a number of amazing dive sites to visit.

For a day at anchor, enjoy an afternoon on board in the karst islands.

Misool South is an eco-resort, home to 18 bungalows either on the beach or over the water. Here you will be able to see sharks as well as enjoy some world class dive sites or spend a morning paddle boarding or kayaking on the lagoon.

Some of the most well-known dive sites in this area are the islets and ridges of Fiabacet and the passage between two islands called the Fantasea Channel.

Not to be missed is a trek to the caves of Tomolol on the east coast of Misool Island. The cave system is located in a beautiful setting within a sheltered lagoon surrounded by rich green fauna and shallow blue water.

Located approximately 150 nautical miles to the southeast of Misool, spending a day at anchor in Momon is a must for every yacht chartering these waters.

The Momon waterfall stems from a river originating in the highlands of the Papuan jungle and ends in the sea. Take a tender ride to the waterfall and swim up to experience this natural wonder.

Enjoy another afternoon of kayaking and snorkelling along the jungle filled coastline where you can spot hornbills, turtles and forest kangaroos.

Triton Bay is famous for its outsize corals and marine life – the area’s waters are nutrient dense, which makes for often poor visibility but also means everything is bigger and better. It’s like Raja Ampat on steroids.

A relatively unexplored location for divers, Triton Bay is an amazing anchorage perfect for spectacular dives and water sports.

It has also been known to spot whale sharks in this region and divers have experiences close-up, prolonged encounters with these giant creatures of the sea.
