Yacht description
Castoldi JT23

West Nautical are happy to showcase this 2024  luxury Castoldi Jet Tender 23, which is designed for owners who demand reliability and refined engineering and is based in San Remo Italy, with less than 10 engine hours used.

At its core, the JT23 is powered by a Yanmar 4LV250 marine diesel engine, delivering an impressive 250 HP at 3,800 RPM. This robust powerhouse is paired with Castoldi’s Turbodrive 284 H.C.T. waterjet propulsion system, an industry-leading unit that maximises thrust while offering precision handling and safety in shallow waters. The propulsion system is engineered for durability, featuring an AISI 316 stainless steel impeller, a titanium-lined impeller housing, and an integrated gearbox.

The sophisticated dashboard integrates a Raymarine Axiom 9 multifunction display for real-time navigation, digital switching, and engine data. A Raymarine Ray 53 VHF system with GPS connectivity ensures clear communication at sea, while a Fusion MS-RA210 stereo system with four watertight speakers sets the tone for a luxurious onboard atmosphere.

Designed with both convenience and style in mind, this JT 23 features a self-bailing cockpit, a transom platform with a telescopic boarding ladder, and a bow landing stepped ramp with a retractable handrail. Seating is exceptionally well-appointed, with space for up to 14 guests across its semicircular aft and fore benches, central engine hatch bench, and adjustable driver and co-driver seats. All cushions are finished in premium removable upholstery.

Anchoring and mooring are simplified with a polished stainless steel Trefoil anchor and electric windlass supported by four stainless steel lifting eyes and multiple towing points for secure handling. The tender’s under-deck fuel system houses a 200-litre crosslinked polyethylene tank with a fuel-water separator for maximum efficiency.

Onboard safety is paramount, with an automatic bilge pump system, stainless steel handrails, and a fully integrated fire suppression system. The inclusion of a pressurised freshwater shower system, under-seat storage lockers, and recessed bow shelter adds further convenience, making this tender a versatile extension of the mothership.

As specialists in water jet propulsion systems for over 50 years, Castoldi knows what it takes to design and manufacture the perfect hull. Their Jet Tenders can all travel, remaining stable and dry, at more than 30 knots in rough offshore waters, as well as in shallow waters. Manoeuvrability is superb and with no exposed rotating parts or protrusions under the keel, this JT23 is safe for people in the water or on board.
