West Nautical’s global growth continues


West Nautical is delighted to announce the appointment of four new members of staff across three of its offices.

Aleksandr Galkin takes up the role of sales executive in St Petersburg, Ekaterina Kudryavtseva joins the company as a client manager, Jessica Walmsley joins the Newcastle office as office administrator and Lily Gilding joins the Antibes office as marketing intern.

Aleksandr is an experienced yachting industry professional, having spent several years as a sales broker with Nord Star Yachting and Premium Yachts. He went on to become the fleet manager and head of the Marine Group for a private fleet and most recently has been the CEO of his own brokerage and yacht management company, Rond Yachting.

Ekaterina, the new client manager in South of France and Monaco will now work for West Nautical's brokerage department. She is a graduate of Russian Plekhanov University and also has additional language education from Lomonosov Moscow State University. 

Coming from a background in customer service, Jessica previously worked in customer service roles, she will undertake all office administrative tasks, including travel arrangements, courier shipments to our yachts and team diary management, providing valuable support to the yacht management team and West Nautical as a whole.

Outside of work Jessica is an accomplished gymnast and has competed all over the country in national and international competitions. She was recently selected to be part of the GB squad at the World Gymnaestrada in Switzerland.

Lily Gilding will be based in the Antibes office until October 2019. She has recently completed her second year as a BSc marketing student at Bournemouth University and already has experience working in the marketing side of the yachting industry.

While studying, Lily has worked as a part-time marketing assistant with Fairline Yachts, where she was involved in the Southampton, London, Dusseldorf and Miami boat shows, and completed various other special assignments.

The four appointments come during a period of growth for West Nautical, which has offices in the UK, Russia and France as well as a newly-opened office in Cyprus.
