West Nautical are thrilled to welcome three new members to our growing team!

Izzy Dunderdale - Charter Management Assistant

Izzy has worked in the yachting industry for ten years, eight of these on board yachts as a Chief Stewardess, including both charter and private yachts ranging from 30m to 80m. In 2020 she began her shoreside career in marketing,  and she now joins us as Charter Management Assistant, where she will be focusing on expanding our fleet of central agencies, combining her onboard charter experience and marketing knowledge together to take this exciting next step in her career.

Chris Willis - Junior Brokerage Assistant

Chris, a qualified Yachtmaster, joins the West Nautical team as Junior Brokerage Assistant, having recently completed his Superyacht Cadetship at UKSA. Growing up around the Norfolk Broads, Chris spent a lot of time on the water and at his father’s marine engineering firm gaining technical insight into the maritime industry. He spent the early part of his career in the insurance sector, developing an eye for detail and negotiation, which he is excited to utilise in future transactions on behalf of West Nautical clients. Outside of work, Chris is a keen yacht and dinghy sailor. He also enjoys playing piano and is a black belt in karate.

Ben Sawyer - Marketing Intern

Having recently graduated from Newcastle University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management, Ben joins the West Nautical team as an intern to support existing marketing communications. Ben covered all aspects of marketing during his degree, with a particular interest in digital marketing and strategy. Outside of his academic studies, Ben spent the last two years gaining marketing experience within the office products industry, running the email marketing and social media accounts, in addition to managing the company website. Outside of work, Ben is a keen footballer and a Newcastle United fan. He also loves to travel and is currently planning a route across Southeast Asia and Australia to be undertaken after summer next year.
