West Nautical Announces 2017 Captain’s Training Course

West Nautical has announced that its MNTB-recognised Command and Control Training Course will return for its third consecutive year.

Taking place from Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th October 2017, delegates will spend time in the world-renowned South Shields Marine School, in addition participating in a series of seminar sessions that cover industry relevant topics. The course will also incorporate a visit to AkzoNobel’s Gateshead factory, where yacht coatings are developed, created and produced on site.

Only a limited number of places are available on this course, which provides the perfect opportunity for Captains to network, update their skills and acquire new knowledge. Bookings can be made now by emailing training@westnautical.com or calling +44191 478 9920.

Speaking of the course, West Nautical’s managing director Geoff Moore said: “We are delighted to announce the return of this popular course and look forward to welcoming some of the industry’s leading yacht Captains to our UK office.

“This course is very unique and has been specifically developed to provide Captains with practical knowledge and learning that can be taken back on-board and applied to every day scenarios. We have received extremely good feedback from our previous delegates and look forward to running this again in October.”
