WE'RE HIRING! West Nautical are seeking a full time Vessel Manager to support a range of yacht and commercial shipping operational projects in their Newcastle office.

The position of Vessel Manager is a central role to the department and works directly with the company’s clients, deemed as Captains and Owners alike.

Ideally, we are seeking a Deck Officer with both yachting and commercial shipping experience to join the team. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

This role is an excellent opportunity to work and learn from experienced maritime professionals, working on elements including compliance and technical management, financial and administrative support, new build and refit actives, surveys and audits within the luxury yacht and commercial shipping industries.

This role should interest anyone who is looking to start or progress their career ashore in vessel management services, where there is future scope for promotion and career progression within the company.

Excellent computer skills, time management and written and spoken English are required, along with UK citizenship or residency status.
