The primary intentions of the refit are updating the yacht to modern standards and perform preventive maintenance.

Technology
After delivery the Mulder 45 Cabrio will sail mainly at open seas. Therefore has been chosen for the installation of Naiad stabilizer fins, which will increase the sailing comfort substantially. Because of the climate in the future sailing area air-conditioning units are installed in both cabins and in the saloon. The preventive maintenance mainly consists of checking the drive train including renewal of the bearings, balancing the screws and cleaning and pressure testing of the tanks.

Painting
To give the yacht a more modern look and feel, the exterior of the yacht will be repainted from top to bottom. All of the exterior painted woodwork will be stripped down and new varnish applied.

Interior
The modern style will also be reflected in the interior: the ceiling panels, carpeting, wall panels and sofas will all be provided with new upholstery . The curtains will be replaced for Venetian blinds and plissé. The brass lamps, door handles and locks will be replaced for chrome.

The new name of the Mulder 45 Cabrio will be “ARIOSO”. ARIOSO will be delivered in Spring 2015 to sail the French Atlantic Coast.
