West Nautical Yacht Management Division today was awarded a Document of Compliance from the Isle of Man Ship Registry, allowing them to manage ISM, ISPS and MLC compliant commercial yachts of less than 3000GT.

West Nautical presently holds a DoC for Cayman Islands vessels, and also manages sub 500GT yachts registered with the Jersey and Gibraltar Shipping Registries.

Head of Compliance, Peter Edwards, commented that this was another step on the ladder for West Nautical’s continued progression. ‘We have made significant progress in the last few months with the setting up of our ISM compliant management services, and todays recognition from the Isle of Man is gratification of the hard work the team has put in.’
