Exclusive beach towns, glittering marinas and fascinating ancient history, expect all of this and more in against a back drop of spectacular mountain scenery and sapphire waters in Turkey.
Arrive in Bodrum, the gateway to Turkey’s exclusive beach towns and resorts. Meet the crew and get acquainted with your luxury charter yacht before spending the rest of the day exploring what the area has to offer.
Enjoy your evening meal on board, or sample Bodrum’s vibrant nightlife enjoying cocktails with fresh local ingredients complemented by views over the glittering marina.
Wake up refreshed ready for a morning cruise towards Bozburun, a firm favourite amongst luxury charter guests. Sunbathe on the sundeck as you cruise the sparkling waters of the Aegean.
You will anchor in the small harbour where you can disembark and take a stroll along the promenade, stopping for lunch in one of the local restaurants. Pick up a jar of locally produced thyme honey before spending the rest of the day cruising the many secluded nearby coves.
This morning you will cruise towards the natural port city of Fethiye. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop along the way and make use of the onboard watersports equipment.
Fethiye is a great base from which to visit Ölüdeniz, known for the blue lagoon of Ölüdeniz Tabiat Park and the wide, white Belcekız Beach. There are many interesting sites to visit in the surrounding countryside for those who wish to explore, including the ghost town of Kayaköy, a once bustling town built in the 1700s now completely deserted.
Marmaris is one of Turkey’s livelier resorts. Spend the day on board making the most of the luxury amenities before anchoring in the marina in the evening where you have the option to spend it ashore.
Head to Bar Street for lively clubs, drinking and dancing in open-air venues, all surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.
Set sail towards Datca. This small town is notoriously friendly and highly popular with charter guests due to its unspoilt scenery, stone roads, bougainvillea-covered walls and lush green foliage.
Explore the local shops which offer a range of authentic and locally-made produce such as olive soap. Visit ancient ruins and learn about the local history, the ancient Greeks believed Datca to have been created by Zeus himself.
The ancient Greek city of Knidos is sure to be a highlight of your Turkish charter. A once affluent Dorian port city dating to 400 BC, the ruins lie scattered across the western tip of the Datça Peninsula.
The city paths are well-preserved, visit the round temple of Aphrodite Euploia, which once contained the world’s first free-standing statue of a woman. After a day of exploring head back to the yacht for a harbourside dinner, followed by your favourite cocktails.
Your last stop before heading back to Bodrum is Sedir Island. Located in the Gulf of Gokova, this stunning little island is also often referred to as Cleopatra Island. It is said that the sand found at the beaches here was brought by ships from the Red Sea for Cleopatra herself and is made from seashells that can be found only in Egypt.
After a day of swimming and sunbathing head back to your luxury vessel where the crew will prepare a spectacular meal for your final night on board.
