Historical towns, unspoilt scenery and beautiful bays – the South Coast of England has much to offer charter guests and is the gateway to the Channel Islands and France. Explore this magical part of the world from the comfort of your very own superyacht.
Arrive at Ocean Village Marina, Southampton, where you will be welcomed on board. After settling in and meeting your friendly crew you will set sail towards the coastal town of Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Take the tender ashore for lunch and explore the town's specialised shops. Once back on board you will cruise in a west towards the parish town of Yarmouth. A small town, Yarmouth offers great views and charming eateries where you can stop to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast on board before heading out of the Solent and across the English Channel towards the beautiful Channel Islands. The journey to Guernsey will take approximately five hours. After a scenic cruise anchor in St Peter Port in time for lunch. The afternoon can be spent exploring this attractive town, for those who are interested in history a walk around Castle Cornet is a must. It offers fascinating insight into centuries of the island's past. Shopping enthusiasts will also enjoy the array of shops on offer and low-duty prices. You will anchor in St Peter Port marina overnight.
Today you will sail out of St Peter Port to picturesque Fermain Bay to enjoy breakfast at anchor. Cruise across the Little Russel channel to Herm Island, nestled between Guernsey and Sark. The island is only three miles from Guernsey, it is small – only a mile and half long – and unspoilt with no cars, crowds or stress.
Your captain will anchor in Belvoir Bay from which you can cruise to the island by tender and discover its beauty for yourself. If you are feeling energetic take a cliff-top walk with panoramic views of the island before enjoying lunch at the island’s hotel. Later, head back to your yacht and return to St Peter Port for the night.
This morning say goodbye to Guernsey, you will now begin the cruise towards Jersey. The journey to the largest of the Channel Islands will take roughly an hour. Anchor in St Aubin’s Bay and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board before anchoring in the vibrant waterfront marina of St Helier.
In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to explore Jersey’s capital and its sights. Returning to the marina later in the day, enjoy cocktails or your favourite tipple in the lively waterfront bars, or if you prefer, enjoy drinks on board with spectacular views over the island.
Sip fresh coffee and enjoy breakfast as you leave Jersey behind and cruise further south and into France today. The granite-walled port city of St Malo is about two hours from St Helier and well worth exploring. You will be staying here for two nights, so you will have plenty time to explore the historical streets, bars, restaurants and artisan shops, as well as the nearby craggy beaches.
Whilst you are here you will be able to experience for yourself why St Malo is known as the 'jewel of the Emerald Coast', with its unspoilt nature and fascinating history, from the aint-Malo ramparts to the Ville-es-Nonais Viking camp.
Today you can enjoy further leisure and exploration time in St Malo. Should you visit on a Tuesday or Friday you will be able to visit the Breton market in the old city. Either return to the yacht for a freshly prepared lunch on board or you may wish to take a drive to the nearby town of Cancale where you can taste the food of the renowned 'Le Relais Gourmand Olivier Roellinger'.
In the evening take a stroll along the sandy beach, or take some time to peruse the local boutiques. Return on board for sundowners and enjoy an evening meal or light bites prepared with locally sourced produce from the Breton market.
Once more awaken to fresh coffee and breakfast on board. Spend your final morning in St Malo, pick up some final treats or souvenirs from the local stores before returning on board.
