Monaco Yacht Show 2026: four days on the quay with AMI, in pictures

The Monaco Yacht Show is the one week of the year when almost everyone in yachting is in the same harbour. This September, 16 of the West Nautical team flew in from our offices around the world to be there too.

Our base for the show was AMI, the Sanlorenzo SX112, berthed in Port Hercule on Quai Chicane and open for viewings throughout. She did exactly what we hoped. Clients came aboard for a look and stayed for a conversation, and her aft deck became the place where most of our best meetings happened.

For a company spread across the UK, Cyprus, Dubai and Monaco, the show is also a rare chance to have everyone in one place. Brokers, charter specialists and yacht managers who usually speak over email spent four days side by side, which is good for us and better for our clients. A question about a purchase could be answered by the person who would manage the yacht afterwards, standing a metre away.

We used the time on board well. Between viewings we sat the team down in front of the camera for a series of interviews you'll see over the coming months, and photographer Dom Ginn captured the week as it happened.

Managing Director, Geoff Moore, shares his thoughts "Monaco Yacht Show is the one week when the whole company is in the same place, and you can feel the difference. Clients were meeting the people who would actually look after their yacht, not just the person selling it. That is how we like to work, and the show let us do it properly."

Thank you to everyone who came to see us, to AMI's owner and crew for having us, and to the team who travelled to make it happen. There was champagne on the quay at the end, and it was earned.

If we missed you in Monaco, we'd still love to talk.
