West Nautical is delighted to announce the successful launch of a brand new Sanlorenzo 56, luxury motor yacht Alma.

A new build vessel project is an exciting and equally apprehensive time in many ways, so we are thrilled to have launched this project successfully.

ABOUT THE BUILD

Starting in 2019, we oversaw the new-build project management for the build at the Italian shipyard in La Spezia, acting as the owner’s representative on site. The owner, who previously had a 40m yacht in production, wanted the interior to be fully customised for his own uses.

Alma’s exterior design is by Bernardo Zuccon, while her bespoke interior is by Vickers Studio, in what is the first time the Italian Shipyard has collaborated with the British designer.

She offers a generous interior with six cabins for up to 12 guests, featuring an upper deck master cabin aft with private deck space for entertaining. On the upper deck, there is an extensive interior dining room. Her standout features also include a massage room, a huge beach club and a gym.

Alma was also delivered with a fantastic toy box, complete with two jet skis and seabobs, and a customised Dariel 7.5m limousine tender, finished in custom paint to match the yacht.

Her engines are twin Caterpillar C3512’s, and with a top speed of 14 knots, she combines elegance with cutting-edge innovation as she enters Sanlorenzo’s range of best-selling models.
