With approximately 1,200 islands to explore, the Maldives offer a world of exceptional diving with a wide range of underwater flora, fauna and marine life.

The Central Atolls will take you to remote islands, deep dives, shark channels, colourful coral reefs and anemone gardens in an ocean so pristine it feels otherworldly.

Your crew will collect you up from Malé International Airport and bring you to the yacht. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink while you listen to the captain’s welcome briefing.

A spectacular dinner will be served in the evening and you will spend the first night at Hulhumalé marina.

Home to some of the most visited dive sites in the Maldives, North Malé delivers when it comes to diversity of marine species.

Take your first plunge into the crystal clear waters of this paradisiacal destination at North Malé’s Manta Point.

Many of the coral reefs here are home to underwater worlds where frogfish, moray eels, schools of fusiliers and hundreds of other tropical fish reside.

After your first oceanic adventure of the trip settle back in on board and your captain will cruise to Vaavu Atoll for a tantalising night dive while sting rays, nurse sharks and jacks feed around the yacht.

DISTANCE TO TRAVEL: 65NM

One of the most sparsely populated atolls in the Maldives, Vaavu offers amazing diving and a truly authentic experience of the Maldives.

Hammerhead sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, eagle rays and other types of reef shark are found in the area all year round. Navigate through a cavernous honeycomb of sloping reefs, corals and overhangs where marine life can be found at every turn.

Boot-like in shape, the atoll is home to the longest continuous reef in the Maldives, consisting of 55-kilometres of unbroken coral reef.

Nearby Fotteyo Kandu and Miyaru Kandu, also known as shark channel, are considered some of the finest dive sites in the Maldives.

DISTANCE TO TRAVEL: 46NM

This magical atoll is a marine protected area, and for good reason. The mighty whale shark regularly makes an appearance in South Ari. Your crew know just where to find these fantastic beasts and it is highly likely you’ll be able to snorkel and scuba dive alongside them, with Maamigili being one of the whales’ regular hangouts.

The topography here is equally as mesmerising as its inhabitants, with many thilas and several wrecks such as Machchafushi to explore, covered with colourful corals, it is not to be missed. Keep a look out for moray eels, scorpionfish, Napoleon wrasse and grey reef sharks amongst the marine fauna.

The crew will lead a visit ashore to a nearby island before dinner where you can relax on powder soft sands and make the most of the yacht’s water toys before dinner.

DISTANCE TO TRAVEL: 29NM

Next you will discover the North Ari Atoll. Take a last chance to say goodbye to the whale sharks of South Ari before the short journey.

In the north, the channels are wider and the ocean becomes deeper. Once more the waters are full of life, the currents here attract lots of grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks and other large pelagic fish.

As night falls head ashore for an indulgent beach BBQ prepared by your crew on a nearby desert island. A truly magical experience, with stars overhead and the sound of the ocean as your background music.

Today you will experience the natural phenomenon that are manta cleaning stations, as well as extraordinary thilas, submerged pinnacles, and a wreck teeming with marine life.

Keep a look out for eagle rays, hawksbill turtles, Napoleon wrasse, schools of blue-stripe snapper, batfish and fusiliers.

At night time you have a manta ray feeding to look forward to, where they will often feed right

by the yacht.

DISTANCE TO TRAVEL: 45NM

After a morning dive you will head back to the North Malé Atoll. Here you will find long stretches of reef, small caves to explore, colourful corals and feeding manta rays.

A diving wonderland, it’s no surprise this atoll is one of the most visited in the Maldives. There is a wide range of species here, from frogfish and nudibranchs to whale sharks and hammerheads!

Prepare to be astounded at every turn with this colourful world beneath the waves.

Your trip is coming to an end. Your crew will arrange your transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule once you have had your breakfast on board.

The crew will also be more than happy to help you plan for the day if you have a late flight. Various options are available ranging from snorkelling excursions and bookings for accommodation.
