Life of the rich and famous – how the other half live in a world filled with Superyachts

Offering a private chef, dedicated crew and access to some of the world’s most exclusive destinations, it’s easy to see why yacht charter is such a popular holiday choice for the rich and famous.

From the moment a guest steps onto a luxury superyacht they can enjoy the facilities and service that would rival that of a five-star hotel, all in the privacy of their own surroundings. Before they even arrive, the Captain and crew will have their favourite drinks on ice and a bespoke menu prepared for each day of their trip, taking into account any dietary requirements or special requests.

Most superyachts have between three and six cabins, sleeping a total of six to 12 guests, and although each and every yacht is unique and individually designed, you can expect to find facilities such as a bar, entertainment area, saloon and sundeck on board. Attention to detail is key to building any superyacht and this is echoed throughout every aspect of the yacht’s interior and exterior design.

Jet skis, paddle board, kayaks and snorkel or diving equipment are included on most vessels, along with a tender boat to take guests to and from the yacht to shore.

Captain and crew will know exactly where to go to find unspoiled landscapes and beaches that boast clear blue waters, perfect for diving or swimming. Guests can then decide how long they wish to stay before heading to their next destination.

Although charter guests will have chosen a travel itinerary prior to their trip, this is completely flexible and can be changed at a moment’s notice should they wish to leave a destination early or stay for an additional night.

And it’s not just onboard where they can enjoy VIP treatment, their captain is always available to make reservations in top restaurants or book tables in a city’s most exclusive nightclubs should they wish to experience the nightlife in any chosen location. They can then return to the yacht at the end of their night, ready for an exciting new experience the following day.

People charter yachts for all kinds of holidays as the flexibility they provide means they are suitable for those of all ages. Whether it’s a trackside seat at the Grand Prix, a family break cruising the Caribbean or a hen party with a difference, the bespoke nature of this holiday ensures that guests travel in style, with all of the home comforts they would expect from a luxury hotel. Day charters also provide a fantastic way to tour a coastline, swim in the ocean and enjoy an alfresco meal and drinks at sea.

Offering everything from a cruise along the Mediterranean coast to expedition trips in Antarctica, yacht charter offers an unforgettable way to experience some of the most breath-taking landscapes on the planet, whilst enjoying fine dining and a first-class service.

Yacht charter isn’t as expensive as people may often imagine, with prices for a luxury superyacht starting from just £1,000 per day, making this amazing day out or holiday with friends and family, accessible to more than just the rich and famous.
