Two West Nautical directors recently shared their industry insights and knowledge at this year’s Superyacht Investor event which was hosted at London’s Landmark Hotel.

CEO, Andrey Lomakin and managing director, Geoff Moore, were amongst a panel of industry experts speaking at the two-day event.

Kicking off the morning’s activities, Andrey took to the panel to share his thoughts about the 2018 yacht sales market, discussing key issues such as who will be buying yachts this year, whether there is expected to be an increase in new buyers in 2018 and whether he believes people will opt to purchase new or preowned yachts.

Geoff then took to the stage later that day to discuss all things yacht charter, with a focus on points such as whether chartering was the future of yachting, whether an owner can make money by chartering their yacht and how yacht charter is perceived in the current marketplace.

Established three years ago, Superyacht Investors London has emerged as one of the leading conferences for the yachting industry, with over 150 senior executives attending each year. All of the panellist provided exciting and insightful discussions about current market trends and West Nautical was delighted to be invited to speak on the panel.
