West Nautical has expanded its yacht management department with the addition of two new staff and the promotion of Shaun Moore to Head of Compliance.

Shaun has worked for West Nautical for two years as Yacht Manager and will now be responsible for overseeing the safety of West Nautical’s yacht fleet.

The move comes as Konstantin Sashchenko joins the firm as Yacht Manager, with responsibility for the whole Black Sea region spanning from Russia to Turkey. Konstantin will manage West Nautical’s existing fleet of yachts in the region, in addition to further expanding the company’s management portfolio.

Speaking of his new role, Konstantin said: “Joining the team was quite unexpected for me and I’m really looking forward to my new role. I hope to contribute a lot to West Nautical and I am eager to develop company’s strategy and move on towards our common objectives.”

Dawn Mooney has also joined West Nautical as Yacht Management Assistant, with responsibility for assisting the management department. Dawn’s previous experience was heavily focused on operational and charter accounts, in addition to providing vessels with shore-based assistance.
