West Nautical held an open day onboard, proving to be a great success, drawing in a crowd of brokers, owner’s representatives and prospective clients.

Running late into the evening with a Champagne reception, all of the guests agreed that the yachts’ volume was a pleasant surprise and the quality including layout of the new Voyager 94 was exceptional.

Geoff Moore, Managing Director of West Nautical commented “There was a unanimous opinion that our industry are ‘sizest’. We judge by length, and not volume. When our guests embarked Firefly, they struggled to believe she is less than 30m LOA. She has a volume of a much larger yacht, and as such is attracting interest from a large variety of interested parties.”

Morris Hazell & Jodie Beecroft from Quinton Trust (Malta) Limited commented “The West Nautical event on the Voyager 94 (MY Firefly) was a brilliant evening, the West Nautical crew were welcoming and professional as always.  Firefly is a spectacular vessel, the design is elegant and spacious which gives you maximum comfort.”

It was commented by numerous visitors that she could be a very successful charter boat based on her volume, sea keeping characteristics and generous outside spaces, ideally suited for the US and Bahamas cruising grounds. Penelope Kellie of Kellie Worldwide commented “She really is a superb vessel and I think she will do well on the charter market”. West Nautical have the plans to proceed with registering the yacht commercially for any interested parties looking to run her as a charter yacht, or for subsequent new orders we receive for this 94 ft platform.

The yacht is now being shipped to Nice on a Peters and May vessel to minimise the engine hours and maintenance before being shown for sale in the Cote d’Azur.
