West nautical have expanded their charter department with Christina Gedamke joining the company, based in their Antibes office.

The passionate globe trotter has joined the team, headed by Charter Fleet Manager Tina Collins, and will be responsible for charter management and charter brokerage.

Having worked onboard cruise liners and within the hospitality and superyacht industries for the past 16 years, Christina has travelled extensively and became an expert in the luxury element of each of these sectors. Christina is a charter specialist, having worked for several companies specialising in boutique charters, and her passion for customer service shone through to West Nautical Managing Director, Geoff Moore, "we're delighted to welcome Christina to our team. She is such a passionate and dedicated person, her attention to detail and energy has impressed upon us, and added to her superb knowledge of the charter market, she will add great strength to our charter team".

Born in Bavaria, Germany, Christina completed her degree in 'Applied Linguistics and Latin' before travelling. She speaks seven languages and has lived and worked in Egypt, France, Bahrain and Dubai so far. With a passion for sailing yachts and traditional craft, Christina's skill set complements the existing West Nautical sales and charter team perfectly.
