West Nautical are recruiting a Bosun/OOW for a 58m MY, Charter/Private. (New Build)

This position would suit a qualified OOW with a minimum of 6 month’s experience in this capacity, the Bosun will get bridge time and guidance from the Chief Officer (ISM & ISPS).   Deck crew consists of Chief Officer/Bosun and 2 deckhands) at which you will be running the deck team and being a strong right hand to the Chief Officer.

Must have excellent deck/product knowledge and a proficient tender driver (jet tender).   Exceptional organisational skills you will proactively maintain the yacht to its the highest of standards.

The ideal candidate will be a solid, hard working & driven individual, who can be a support to the Chief Officer. The 2nd Officer will participate in navigational and watchkeeping duties as well as keeping the charts and publications up to date. On deck, the 2nd Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the deck and needs to be confident to lead and train the Deck team.

Qualifications: Updated STCW, ENG1 & OOW
Monthly Salary: TBC
Leave: 90 days & 3 return flights per annum
